Bookings for the Lucy Cavendish Creative Writing Weekend are now closed.
Devote a weekend to improving your creative writing skills on this online weekend course delivered by Lucy Cavendish College, part of the University of Cambridge and home to the prestigious Lucy Cavendish Fiction Prize.
The Creative Writing Weekend is open to all prose writers, regardless of experience or gender. On each of these packed two days, writers will have access to four pre-recorded talks presented by our guest speakers, two live workshops with our course directors, and have a one-on-one feedback session.
The course will be led by writer and teacher, Miranda Doyle and by Jo Browning Wroe, a writer and Creative Writing Supervisor at Lucy Cavendish College. Guest speakers include: Kate Evans, literary agent with PFD, Gillian Stern, editor of fiction and ghostwriter, Claire Askew, author of All The Hidden Truths (winner of the 2016 Lucy Cavendish Fiction Prize), What You Pay For and This changes things, and Nicola Garrard, author of 29 Locks (shortlisted for the Lucy Cavendish Fiction Prize in 2019)
